Health and fitness faves from Amazon

I don’t know about you all, but Amazon is making deliveries to our apartment at least twice weekly. Sure, there’s a Target across the street, but why make the trip when you can have the convenience of making a random purchase while in your pj’s and having it delivered straight to your door? So on that note, I wanted to share some of my favorite health and fitness finds for both you and your dog that have found their way into my cart in the last 6 months.

Freedom No Pull Harness | Gold Standard Whey Protein Powder | Collapsible Dog Water Bowl  | Apple Watch Band Replacement |RX Bars | Nathan running belt

Freedom no pull harness

I’ve been using this dog harness for a while now, and love that it’s lined with soft velvet on the underneath strap to minimize chafing, making it especially great for running. It also has the convenience of both a front and back clip for the leash. I almost always use the front clip because I find that it minimizes pulling, but depending on your dog or the activity, it’s really nice to have the option to clip it on their back as well.

Gold Standard Whey Protein Powder

I put a scoop of this in my smoothie every morning. My favorite flavor is definitely the double rich chocolate. It makes any drink taste like a milkshake treat and keeps me full for hours longer than a smoothie alone. It’s also great with just almond milk, or even water if you’re in a hurry.

Collapsible dog water bowl

I love that this comes with a clip so you can attach it to your backpack or your belt loop. It’s great for when you’re going to be out and about for a while and you want to share your water bottle with your pup. You can also use it on a run and just fill it up at a water fountain along your route.

Apple Watch band replacement

This is not an Apple product, but it works with my Apple Watch. It’s a fraction of the cost of the Apple bands, and I honestly can’t tell the difference. It’s fun to have more color options for spring!

RX Bars

These have been a perfect on-the-go snack lately. Sometimes I’ll eat half of one if I need a little something to fuel me before a morning run. The chocolate sea salt flavor is great, although it’s the only one I’ve tried so far. I’ll definitely be checking out some of their other flavors. The best part is the simple ingredient list: no junk and fillers!

Nathan running belt

I ordered this when I started training for a half marathon because I wanted to be able to bring my phone and Spotify playlists along with me. It also works really well to stuff in your keys or doggie bags. I have an iPhone 6 + and am able to run with this on my waist without it bothering me at all.
